Proverbs 13:17A wicked messenger falls into trouble, But a faithful ambassador brings health (NKJV)

  • While on mission in a foreign nation, once missionaries or other Christian leaders lead a lost soul to Christ and they baptize them, their task has been accomplished and then they return home. At this point it is all in the local pastor’s hands to teach them and keep them in the flock. The problem is, who will help the pastors? What is the pastor’s workload?

BTCA takes a few extra steps and cultivates the lives of our new brothers and sisters. Creating jobs, restoring hope, seeking ways to better their lives, teach them languages, staying with them for an extended time to better relate with their needs. This is not rocket science, nor is it not already being done by other organizations. Visit www.fcsministries.org (Focused Community Strategies) and see how this method is working in Atlanta, Georgia.

BTCA is just getting off the ground. Come join our team and serve Him, for He is beside us and all that we do is to glorify Him.

Maslow has this theory that in my educated and evangelistic opinion, applies to missionaries. When the weak are at their lowest, we need to step in and help them get to a point where they will understand why they were baptized and how they must live their lives in a Christian manner. Moving them up the pyramid is done in a holistic (whole) manner. As they move up, cultivate, they will start adding strong roots in their lives.
