DIRECTOR

Ricardo Jaramillo

Ricardo Jaramillo serves as Director of Break The Cycle Ambassadors (BTCA), a Christian ministry committed to helping individuals, families, and communities discover hope, purpose, and transformation through Jesus Christ. His ministry emphasizes discipleship, evangelism, biblical teaching, leadership development, and practical community outreach. Through ministry partnerships and service in the United States, Mexico, and Guatemala, BTCA seeks to build meaningful relationships, strengthen families, equip local leaders, and communicate the Gospel in culturally relevant ways.

Discipleship is central to Jaramillo’s ministry philosophy. He understands the Great Commission as a call not only to make believers, but to make disciples who follow Christ, live according to Scripture, serve others, and help others become disciples. His work includes developing practical biblical studies, bilingual teaching resources, discipleship curriculum, leadership materials, and ministry tools designed to help churches and individuals move from learning biblical truth to living it out. The goal is to equip believers to become faithful followers of Christ and effective disciple-makers.

Through BTCA, Jaramillo seeks to encourage a continuing cycle of discipleship, service, and transformation—one life influencing another for Christ. The ministry is built on the conviction that people matter, that biblical truth should be lived out in practical ways, and that healthy discipleship multiplies through relationships. By investing in people, equipping leaders, strengthening families, and partnering with churches and community organizations, BTCA seeks to develop disciples prepared to serve, teach, lead, and make disciples who, in turn, invest in others.

Ricardo has the following degrees: Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Master’s in Business Administration

Ricardo Jaramillo is a member of Madison Church of the Nazarene in Madison, Alabama.

EVANGELISM AMBASSADOR

Esther Anzueto

Esther Anzueto was born and raised in a Christian home, where her father served as a local preacher, and her mother participated in church ministries. They instilled strong Christian values in her character from a young age. For approximately 20 years, Esther has dedicated herself to volunteer missionary work, serving God in various locations, including Guatemala, Indianapolis (through the One Heart Many Hands project), and Chiapas, Mexico, within the Church of the Nazarene. She also helped establish a Baptist church, where she served for six years. Currently, she is a missionary through her local church (the Church of the Nazarene) as part of a new mission initiative, providing discipleship to newcomers.

EDUCATION AMBASSADOR

Elida Perez Torres

Elida Pérez Torres is 38 years old and has dedicated herself to personal and professional growth. She studied Communication Sciences, which gave her valuable knowledge and experience in communication, interpersonal relationships, and working with others. She is currently continuing her education by studying English and French, as well as Pedagogy, to expand her knowledge and create new opportunities to serve others.

Throughout her professional career, Elida has gained experience in several different areas. She previously worked for the Organización Radiofónica Mexicana (ORM), where she developed her communication skills and strengthened her ability to connect with different people. She also worked in Customs, an experience that allowed her to work in an administrative and professional environment while further developing her sense of responsibility, organization, and commitment.

Today, Elida works in the Admissions Department at the University of Latin America, located in Huixtla, Chiapas, Mexico. In this role, she interacts with students and families, providing guidance and support throughout the admissions process. Her current work allows her to apply many of the skills she has developed throughout her career while contributing to the educational community in her local area.

Above all, Elida is deeply grateful to God for remaining a constant presence throughout every stage of her life. When she looks back, she can clearly recognize God’s hand in many circumstances and moments, even during times when she did not fully understand what was happening. She recognizes that God has never left her alone; instead, He has always been by her side, guiding her, strengthening her, and giving her the strength to continue moving forward.

Today, Elida can say with a heart full of gratitude that her life is a testimony of God’s love and faithfulness. She recognizes that He has always been present in her life and that everything she is and everything she has accomplished has been possible through His grace and mercy.

For this reason, Elida desires to continue serving God with all her heart, with gratitude, love, and sincere devotion. To her, serving God is not simply a responsibility, but a privilege and a beautiful way of thanking Him for never abandoning her and for faithfully walking beside her through every stage of her life.

Josephine Dolores Jaramillo

Josephine poured her heart and soul into her role. She served as Director of Operations at an assisted living and memory care facility for an incredible 11 years. During her tenure, she managed the budget meticulously. She nurtured and evaluated her team. She expertly handled payroll. She dedicated herself to recruiting, orienting, and training new employees.

Josephine has eagerly volunteered at CASA of Madison County, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Her passion is evident. She actively participates in the “Walk to End Alzheimer’s.” She also organizes food drives to support her local community. Her unwavering commitment and heartfelt contributions make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around her.

Josephine’s passion for her family knows no bounds. Presently, she is dedicated to nurturing her two teenage nieces. She wholeheartedly immerses herself in every aspect of their education. She also supports their extracurricular pursuits. She encourages them to constantly strive for excellence. Together, they cherish their frequent travels and camping adventures, forging unforgettable memories. Her nieces call her “helicopter Mom.” She wholeheartedly embraces her role. She is unwavering in her pursuit of what is best for them.

Education: Josephine has an Associate in General Studies and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies. In 2025, Josie earned an Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Management. She has been an active member of the National Society of Leadership and Success since 2022. She believes education is important and plans to pursue her bachelor’s degree.
